ParticipantsFor the 2004 NEH Institute on Religion & Politics in India: Culture, History & the Contemporary Experience, twenty-five participants were selected from two-year and four-year colleges and universities across the country, following NEH guidelines. Successful applications demonstrated the applicant's commitment to teaching excellence and institutional development, and included a statement of commitment from their college or university to introduce Asian content into undergraduate courses in the humanities and social sciences.
