Impulse Journal


ROOTS:

1: the usually underground organ that lacks buds or leaves or nodes; absorbs water and mineral salts; usually it anchors the plant to the ground; 2: a simple form inferred as the common basis from which related words in several languages can be derived by linguistic processes; 3: take root and begin to grow; 4: come into existence, originate; 5: plant by the roots 6: take sides with; align oneself with; show strong sympathy for; 7: become settled or established and stable in one's residence or life style; 8: cause to take root.


ROUTES:

1: an established line of travel or access; 2: an open way (generally public) for travel or transportation;
3: send documents or materials to appropriate destinations; 4: send via a specific route 5: divert in a specified direction.


ROUT:

1: (Law) A disturbance of the peace by persons assembled together with intent to do a thing which, if executed, would make them rioters, and actually making a motion toward the executing thereof; 2: A fashionable assembly, or large evening party; 3: to defeat and throw into confusion; to overthrow and put to flight.
